  Captain Jim Ravenscroft was born in Brightwaters Long Island on the Atlantic Ocean. He  fished inshore and offshore for Cod, Bluefish, Striped Bass, and Shark, etc.  Later in life when he moved to UpState NY he fished the Hudson River and the near by surrounding streams of the region.  

He has fished the waters of Cape Cod for Bluefish, Striped Bass,  Shark  and the coastal  waters and offshore for Tuna, Waho, and Grouper from Maine to Florida.  Captain Jim also landed  Shark,  Swordfish and Sail fish on a trip to Kona Hawaii.   

After 25 years of  Law Enforcement Captain Jim retired to the West Coast of Florida with his wife Marie.  Spending time  plying the waters in and around Charlotte Harbor in the abundant fishery found here, where it is a year round fishing paradise.
